January flew by, FAST!!!!!!!

Well Kjia has been busy cheering and do tumbling at Airbound. She has also been to back handspring clinics and do her stretching at home. She is doing great and but misses Missy, which was her private trainer. With the schedule we have there was no time available and it also costs a ton for a trainer. She has been busy doing 4-H stuff, school work and riding her horse with private lessons from Rich Lindell. Also she has taken up a few hobbies like sewing, stitchin', and reading. She always has her nose in a book. This is quite new so I love it!!!! I hope she keeps it up because I want her to excel in school.

Rhett has probably kept us the busiest this month. He has been playing basketball and hockey. He is loving it but hockey is probably his favorite. Above he is number 32 and loves playing with some best friends like Blake Johnson and Tate Ballard. For the tremonton fokes, Blake is Dustin Porrtit's and Shannon Riggs nephew and Tate is Jennifer Heuser's and Brandon Ballard's boy. Rhett is the very youngest on the team and has never played. Most of the boys have played before and they are either in 1st or 2nd grade. Rhett is doing great but needs to get a little more aggressive. He has hockey and basketball back to back so we are keeping that road HOT!!!
Here is Rhett on the Ice. He is truly a natural at this sport. His coach Mike is always asking me where has he been.because they needed him on their team last year. He just started this month and it's been fun. He skates on Wednesday's and has games on Saturday's. He had also been asked to skate at the Trappers games both Friday and Saturday nights. We have had a blast watching him and taking friends with us to the games. He loves it and doesn't mind having a big cheering section. He would play a game between the periods and at one game an Idaho Hockey player gave him a puck. He was so excited. He always skates with the older kids because he is the good and all the coaches love him. He likes the mouth guard and helmet most of all, but the equipment is expensive and if you do not washed it, oh boy it truly STINKS!!!!!!!
Morgan has been playing basketball, dancing and riding horses. In fact we are looking for a horse for Morgan and have been test riding a lot. We have found one but they want a lot for it. She will continue doing private lessons so she will be ready for the summer shows.
She loves dancing but she has developed an athletic side. I love that and boy she is a great guard and can get a little mean. She will probably be like her mother and FOUL out almost every game and break some fingers. She is number 32 and in the blue jersey and green shorts. She is truly getting better each game and has learned so much. We are truly blessed with great coaches. I fact her assistant coach is my cousins brother-in-law, Dan Miggin. Keep SCORING, Morgan!!!!!!!!!
A few weekends ago, we went sledding in the fields by our house. As you can tell it was about 5:00 when we started. We had a blast and the kids were so cute. The faster the better was Rhett's and Morgan's motto. Shane was feeding and told us to go play. I think sometimes he likes to chat with his cows and so he let us go. He is such a good dad and always is looking out for us or just wanted us out of his hair. He always has lots of do with the cows and horses scattered from our house to Smithfield and Amalga. He has also been doing his fire hydrant job and swimming so our schedules are full with me working full-time also. Every night we are running many different directions but I wouldn't have it any other way. We are having fun doing what we are doing whether it be with animals, friends, or just family. We are truly blessed.
We also went to Clinton Anderson and he was so awesome. We truly think we are the horse trainers now. We went with some great friends, the Christensen's and then met our friends the Seamons, Turners, and Mendelkows down there. What a great day with friends and the Newmans were right, he is good!!!!!!!
Did you noticed we have some new pictures of our family. Thanks to Mandy and Jeremy for coming and helping us out. She is getting good even when it's below O in Cache Valley and everyone is freezing. For some reason, I can't get the pictures to load. Hopefully all our bloggin' friends had a great month. Hope to see you soon.
